How much will it cost for my weekly ironing to be done?
Our ironing services are extremely affordable. You will be suprised how cheaply you can outsource your ironing.

 

So do people seriously outsource their ironing?

Of course! Let's face it, ironing isn't the most exciting of tasks. And we're all so busy these days with work, family, friends and other commitments that any jobs we can outsource is money well spent. Outsourcing your ironing is a bit like having a cleaner or a gardener - a no-brainer if you don't have the time or inclination to do it yourself.

How does it work then?

OK, so first have a look at our price list and if you like what you see get in touch. We want to make the process as easy as possible for you so you can get in touch by text, phone, email, Facebook, Twitter or pop an enquiry through on our Contact page.

We'll agree a convenient time to come and collect your clean laundry, then deliver it back between 24 and 48 hours later (often sooner) beautifully pressed on a hanger or folded, in a protective cover ready to slot right back into your wardrobe. Easy!


Do you require a minimum order value?
Minimum order of £10.

Which areas do we cover?

Based in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, we also cover the surrounding areas of Monkseaton, Cullercoats, Tynemouth, Wallsend, Earsdon, Shiremoor, Northumberland Park and North Shields and all areas in Seaton Valley.

Who are your customers?

Our lovely customers come from all walks of life. We currently provide services for families, working professionals, B&Bs and even sports teams. Everybody is more than welcome to use our services and we'd love to hear from you.

Is there a charge for collection and delivery?
Yes we do charge for delivery, however if your only down the street then obviously we will defer this charge.

What is your standard turnaround time on ironing?
Our turnover time is within 24 to 48 hours depending on collection time and your requirments. We have been know to get ironing done in a little as 4 hours and delivered back to you.

When do we collect and deliver ironing?
We collect and deliver every day between 7:30am - 20:00pm, but we will talk to you what time works best for you.

How do I pay for my ironing service ?
Only once ironing is completed your payment will be asked for. Payment in full is due on delivery of your ironing. There are a few ways you can pay. Either by Cash, BACS transfer, Paypal or a personal cheque supported by a valid cheque guarantee card.

What happens if I am not in when my ironing is collected or delivered?
We will always arrange collections and deliveries at a suitable time for you during our collection and delivery hours. However if you are not in we will be happy to call back again, or leave with a neighbour. However, we do have to ask from you a small charge of £3 for each additional trips made if you are not in for an arrange drop off or collection.

How should I prepare and pack my clothes for ironing?
Please fold all clothes ( do not stuff ) into a bag or a basket that you would like them returned in. If you wash your clothes with fabric softener please do not over dry them as they crease more, they will be easier to iron perfectly. If items do arrive very creased, stuffed or extreamly crinckled our team will contact you to advise that this is the case and that the items will not iron out perfectly.


Do you supply hangers?
In order to keep our costs down, we request that if you can you supply your own hangers with each load then that would be great. We do have a large stock of hangers so dont worry your items will be hung perfectly and returned to you. We do ask however that you return these with your next load.

Do you supply protective garment covers?
Yes we do supply you with protective garment covers. These are costly thus we do ask where possible these are returned to us with your next load in order to reduce costs. If garment covers are continually not being returned we may invoice you to cover these costs. Please dont worry though as our clients are great at returnign these to us.

Do you hang or fold the ironed clothes??
This is down to personal preference. Generally speaking, our clients choose to have shirts, blouses, skirts and trousers etc hung, with T shirts and other smaller items folded. It must be remembered, however, that the time taken to fold a shirt adds to the overall cost of the ironing load and also introduces unwanted creases.

Where are the clothes ironed?
The clothes are ironed in a clean pet free and smoke free environment.

What if I only want a one off service?
We provide one off, regular weekly/fortnightly and monthly services and each will be treated with the same professional standard.
